I am a visual artist based in Madison, Wisconsin, working primarily in ceramics and wood. Born in Switzerland and raised in America, I studied architecture at Yale and then violin making in Chicago. After more than a decade of building and restoring violins, I moved into a career in exhibit design, while cultivating a personal art practice in ceramics. In 2025, I studied with Simon Levin through the Cohorts.Art mentorship program, developing a new series based on research about collage, and in 2026 I continue my studies with Deb Schwartzkopf through the Cohorts Continuum program. A founding member of the Madison Area Potters Guild, I really value being part of the local Midwest ceramics community.
